Thursday, 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Start Date: 10/30/25
Duration: six-week session
End Date: 12/11/25

In our weekly after-school sewing program, teens learn how to sew progressively with easy-to-sew projects. Each student is equipped with our Level 1 workbook designed for first-time Sewists. It encourages students to practice foundational sewing skills with each project, gradually increasing in difficulty. It's a journey of self-discovery where students learn to create clothing for themselves and craft projects, with each completed project boosting their confidence.

Fabric and supplies will be provided for the first two projects. However, students must purchase fabric and supplies for the remaining projects. Students will then be introduced to store-bought / PDF patterns to create more complex projects. Basic and advanced techniques are covered.

Students learn. . .

  • how to operate a sewing machine and use workroom equipment
  • how to read and understand sewing instructions
  • how to make pattern alterations, and so much
  • how to insert different types of zippers and so much more!

Special workshops and camps are offered during the summer, which will be announced later.
