The regular school calendar runs from September - June with three 12-week semester blocks. Class sessions total four consecutive weeks. Students may enroll at the beginning of any session online or in-person at the sewing studio. Students may withdraw from the program at any time. In the event of an early withdrawal, tuition is not prorated and is not transferable.
Tuition is based on the number of instructional hours enrolled. Full tuition payment is due at the time of registration with the option of a monthly installment payment plan. Monthly installments are billed every 4-weeks and become due before the 1st day of class.
Online credit card payments are accepted on our secure website. Your payment card information is not stored. Tuition payments can also be made in-person via credit card or cash.
Tuition is not prorated for missed classes. Please see our policy below regarding attendance/make-up classes.
Youth/Teen students pay a one-time registration fee of $40 at the beginning of each semester. The registration fee will be waived when students enroll for the full semester block of 12-weeks
Tuition and registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
One make-up class will be made available at the end of each quarter for excused absences
Attendance is very important for the success of each student. Please commit to being prompt each week upon arrival and dismissal of class. Please contact up prior to the start of the scheduled class if the student is unable to attend class. Students are allowed one make-up class per quarter and have to be scheduled in advance.
Students are required to purchase fabric and notions for each project. You will be informed in advance of the needed materials for class. Kits are also available for purchase on-site.
We will follow the Chicago Public School system schedule in the event of inclement weather. If the studio is closed due to weather, we will notify you of make-up classes.
