WORKSHOPS & ONE-DAY SESSIONS
Thinking about sewing but not ready to commit to a full program? Our workshops are open to the public — no experience required, no long-term commitment.
Each session is hands-on and focused. You’ll work on a real machine, learn a real skill, and leave with a completed project you made yourself.
AVAILABLE WORKSHOPS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
The perfect first step — no experience necessary. In this 2.5-hour hands-on session you’ll learn how a sewing machine works, how to handle fabric, and sew your very first project from start to finish. All supplies are included.
Sewing 101 is also the optional warm-up before entering YCMI Level 1 — our full garment construction program for adults. Many students take this class first just to make sure sewing is for them. It always is.
