All aspects of sewing are taught from foundational sewing skills in Level 1 and progressing to tailoring in Level 7. We'll also teach you how to "fit" by customizing any sewing pattern based on your personal body variation(s) to meet your specific need. Your skill level and knowledge will grow as you advance through the program with each project which increases in the degree of complexity with each level. By the time you complete Level 7, you'll be considered an experienced sewist.
Students may join at any level with teacher approval. However, it is recommended that most students begin with Level 1 which is designed for the beginner or students in need of a refresher. Experienced sewist can also enroll in "Open Sewing" classes in which students will receive expert advice and direction on any sewing project of their choosing.
Registration includes 8-hours of instruction billed every 4-weeks. Students that register for the full semester block of 12-weeks will receive a $10 discount. Students may start at the beginning of any session with the option to stop at any time. Sewing machines, equipment, and tools are provided for in-class use.
